new sketch book

i got a cool new sketch book at “stationers” in hillcrest

butcher paper sketch book

the dimensions are 5.5″ X 8.25″. it’s made of butcher paper and string, with a corrugated paper cover. pretty cool.
i did a few sketches in it last night at art night. here they are:

    Man, I have this exact same sketchbook. Only difference is that I’ve had it for more than 5 years…and there’s not a single sketch in it. Well, there are a few poems written in it, so that’s okay.

    dear dad,
    do more blogs. i get bored at work.
    also, please piss more people off. my life is too boring so i need to read other peoples drama.
    also, could you please cuss more? i like to read cuss words.
    also, is there anyway you could do drawing requests? if so, will you please draw a piano player crapping his pants during a mighty finishing crescendo? i would like to see how you might deal with that.
    thankyou. asides from the constant beatings, you are a fine father figure.
    love lee
    ps.i hope you dont mind that alex and nate will be coming over this weekend for the magic the gathering tournament. they promised not to drink all the sunny d this time.

    Hello,

    Stumbled across your blog via googling “art deco.” i appreciate it. was wondering if you could design a quick logo for a law office i’m opening?

    let me know. thanks.
